How is it possible to get 96% in a TMA and yet still feel upset with the mark?

I need a reality check I think... :-(

On a more positive note, I managed to get a Grade 2 pass for my astronomy course (S282), which I'm really happy with, despite only getting 66% in the exam which should have given me a grade 3 pass.

They've started to give you a breakdown of the marks you get for each exam question now, which is really useful, apparently for most of the exam I answered questions in the Grade 2 range, which explains why they awarded me the higher pass, I only messed up the multiple guess part. I'm really pleased. I'm wondering whether to stick my neck out and do the companion planetary sciences course now, if registration is still open of course.

Edit: The deed is done. (And after I promised myself that I wouldn't be studying for an exam next October too!...)
